KIN has set up Yahoo Groups to facilitate communication between SAT members. (You must have filled out the official SAT member application first).

Team members can send and receive messages directly from an email inbox (like a listserv) or go to the webpage to see and send messages, read team member profiles, store team documents (word, pdf or plain text), schedule meetings and tasks on a calendar, share web links and more.

Sign Up for a Yahoo Account First
To use Yahoo Groups, you must first have a Yahoo account. Go to www.yahoo.com. Click "New here? Sign Up" at the top of the page.

With your Yahoo username and password, join these two groups:

The All-Member State Action Team Yahoo Group
Here we're posting important announcements and documents that are relevant to all state teams. Messages and other information are not visible to the public. Only members of state action teams can join.

Click "Join this Group" and follow the instructions. Once you've received the email message approving your membership you can enter the webpage.

Your State-Specific Yahoo Group
Each state team has a Yahoo group web page and an email address to post messages to. look for your team's page by typing into your web browser's address bar,

http://groups.yahoo.com/group/kinSTATEINTIALSstateactionteam/ (replace the words 'STATEINITIALS' with your state's initials)

Check with your team leaders as to how your team decides to use it because it is not required.
