This organization helps individuals with disabilities find jobs, and helps employers find qualified individuals with disabilities to fill jobs. They also offer training for those looking for employment.

Ability Jobs

This is an online employment resource that helps jobseekers with disabilities in their employment search. The site provides a "resume bank," where people with disabilities can seek employment and post their resume, and where employers can post job openings and check resumes.

Ability One

Ability One was formerly called the Javits-Wagner-O'Day Program.  They coordinate with non-profit organizations to employ individuals who are blind or have severe disabilities in jobs to provide goods and services to the Federal government at a fair price.

ADA Disability and Business Technical Assistance Centers (DBTAC)

The ADA DBTACs act as "one-stop" central, comprehensive resources on ADA issues in employment, public services, public accommodations, and communications. Each center works closely with local business, disability, governmental, rehabilitation, and other professional networks to provide ADA information and assistance. The National Institute on Disability and Rehabilitation Research (NIDRR), in the U. S. Department of Education, established ten regional centers to provide information, training, and technical assistance to employers, people with disabilities, and other entities with responsibilities under the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA).

Alliance for Full Participation

The Alliance for Full Participation, LLC is comprised of eleven organizations in the developmental disabilities field whose objective is the full realization of the vision of people with developmental disabilities living meaningful, productive and personally satisfying lives in their community of choice.

American Association for Vocational Instructional Materials (AAVIM)

The American Association for Vocational Instructional Materials (AAVIM) is a nonprofit association which develops, produces, and distributes instructional materials for instructors, students, and administrators of vocational education.

American Indian Disability Technical Assistance Center

This national center provides information, training and techinical assistance to vocational rehabilitation and employment-related services assisting American Indians, Alaska Natives and Native Hawaiins.

APSE, The Network on Employment

APSE was formerly called the Association for Persons in Supported Employment.  It is a membership organization that tries to improve and expand integrated employment opportunities, services and outcomes for individuals with disabilities. They provide technical assistance to employees, families and employers.

Arc of the United States

The Arc is a community based organization of and for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities. The Arc is devoted to promoting and improving supports and services for all people with intellectual and developmental disabilities through education, research, advocacy, and support of families, friends and community. State and local chapters provide a variety of services to individuals and their families, including advocacy, parent support, daycare centers, employment, and residential programs.

Association for Career and Technical Education (ACTE)

The Association for Career and Technical Education works for the advancement of education that prepares youth and adults for careers.  They focus on professional development, career development, program improvement, policy development  and advocacy, and promoting career and technical education to the general public. Previously called the American Vocational Association (AVA).
