The Family Support Center on Disabilities: Knowledge & Involvement Network (call us KIN for short!) offers you a centralized resource on the full range of options available to individuals with disabilities and their families.

Get information on such topics as early intervention and education, employment, legislation and policy, different disabilities, quality family supports and programs, health and mental health, housing, transportation, recreation, and lots more.

Learn of ways to get involved in your community, your state and our country. Your involvement can increase access to, provision of, and funding for family support services.

Connect with your peers and experts in the field of disability services and family support. Participate in social and professional networks through on-line discussion forums, seminars and workshops, disability conferences, and interagency collaboration.

  • HHS announces Sharon Lewis as new commissioner for ADD
    Sharon Lewis has extensive experience as a disability advocate, and has worked as the Senior Disability Policy Advisor to the U.S. House Committee on Education and Labor Chairman, George Miller since 2007.  She is the parent of 3 daughters, one of who has an intellectual disability.
